Our Classic features:
Fully-adjustable Hood: Fits over helmet, hat, or your bear head.
Snap-back Mittens & Storm Flap: Quickly flip-back your claws with an easy, secure snap attachment, and block the elements with the weatherproof front-flap.
Weatherproof: Designed for the mountain, performs exceptionally well in snow and cold weather. The faux fur repels snow, blocks ALL wind, and has a temperature rating to rival a real bear. Tested on the coldest days in the Colorado Rockies (and throughout brutal Minnesota winters) and we've yet to be chilly.
Mega Pockets: 7 oversized pockets, including a secure-zipped inner media pocket fitting all modern phone sizes, 2 inner drop pockets with ultra-sturdy velcro closures, 2 outer drop pockets, and 2 outer leisure hand pockets.
v4 Upgrades:
- Even more realistic animal face features.
- Improved ease-of-opening on all pocket velcro (still sturdy, just optimized).
- Improved strength of sleeve, mitten, and hood zippers.
Our coats are unisex in sizing and tend to run a tad big.

Our coats are built to last and have no issues with repeated exposure to snow, ice, and all that comes with 100+ ski days.
If wet, simply hang to dry as you would any other winter gear.
Hand-wash + hang-dry only. Washing machines are too rough on the accessories and the dryer will damage the faux leather and could melt the fur. The inner liner can be thoroughly cleaned with gentle soap and water, and can be used to spot clean the fur.

This coat is so awesome, I’m super bummed black bear didn’t make it to the new versions. Skied two days with it, one storm day and one sunny pow day, it did great both days. I wore a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt underneath and was plenty warm. The mittens are a great feature for stopping windchill, wore my spring gloves so I had dexterity then just put on the claws to send it, also nice on the lift. The liner does make a fair amount of noise in the hood and all the snaps were too fiddly and got quickly frustrating. The zippered inner pocket wasn’t big enough for my phone so I put in the outer pocket. I like the features on the new versions and am probably gonna get another one next season because I love this one so much, it’s brings smiles to people’s faces and funny comments from little kids!
