Designed with most Wildcoat v5 features, with a few simplifications for kids' safety (aka no pull cords).

How to measure:
Chest: Measure around widest part of chest, typically 1" below armpits.
Coat Length: Our coats are parka length and should sit around mid-thigh when worn standing.
Recommended age ranges, heights, and weights are based on averages.

I love the V5 lion coat, especially the magnets in the hood compared to my V4 tiger coat. I know all the other people that comment it also love it. I especially loved wearing the hood and sleeves with a Detroit Lions jersey. For those that are interested, I used a couple suspenders (one in front one and one and back) to hold the sleeves on, so I could wear the jersey with the sleeves oh and I also created a headband to put around my helmet that holds two magnets so the magnets did not have to be permanently attached to the helmet
The exact words of my seven year old step son, “there is nothing cooler in this world, than this coat”. He got the lion youth coat and it is amazing. My eleven year old step son got the grizzly bear and he loved his as well.

The Lion is incredibly well put together, very heavy and sure to keep you warm! Love the magnet for the gloves and the fact the sleeves and hood are removable. This is my third WildCoat and I can't wait to see what's in store for next year!
I travel a lot and wanted something warm and a little different. This jacket fit the bill. Besides the unique look it’s one of the most well made jackets I’ve ever owned. Comfortable, infinite pickets, magnetized gloves and zipper flap. Super warm in all temps (currently in Toronto with the ambient temp feels like 27 degrees). Can’t wait to get it on the slopes later this year as well
This coat is beyond what I could have hoped for. The intuition that went into the design surpasses all other coats I’ve worn. The level of adjustability makes this coat a perfect fit no matter what the scenario. The feel is great, the coat is amazingly warm, and it looks freaking awesome!
Got the Lion coat for Christmas and while I don’t ski, figured it would be fun to wear about town, especially here in Portland where "Keeping Portland Weird" is a motto. I wore it for the first time out and about at our Winter Lights Festival, and got many positive comments and lots of looks, which if you are going to buy a coat like this is kind of the point.
After I first got the coat, I was concerned that it seemed to be designed primarily to be worn over a helmet, and the hood kept falling down on my face, which while visually looks great - with your face not showing, you are all lion - it wouldn’t be practical to walk around in and see where you are going. I was about to complain and provide a warning / suggestion in my review that the hood needed to be adjustable, but then I finally discovered that buried under the long fur on the back of the head is this nice cinch cord that you can tighten and make it all good for wearing without a helmet. May be more obvious on the shorter furred species but for the lion the hood adjustment is really well hidden under the mane – might be worth a note with coats that the hoods are adjustable.
Coat seems well made and as described is the warmest coat I have ever worn, I suspect that for any temperature over freezing (maybe even lower), you wouldn’t need anything more than a T-shirt underneath it. Fits well and looks great, I am happy I got it.

The Lion Wildcoat is incredible. Super warm, extremely well made, and looks great whether you’re out to dinner or outside in the cold. The fit and quality are top-tier, and it feels like a jacket that will last for years. I get a lot of compliments on it!

Warmest coat ever
The coat is warm and true to size. It is everything it appears to be. I expected a delay in delivery due to the holidays but it arrived before I expected. Highly recommended.
Love the lion coat! Wore it outside when it was around 15°F, and it kept me at a comfortable temperature.
The hood is amazing, and it was easy to detach it from the coat.

The fit, feel, look, small details and did I say Fur! Make this the perfect eye catching statement you will find. On top of that if you’re going to be an animal on the slope, who better then to be fitted by WILDCOAT!
